Planning
Onur Plast LLC is a company that comprehensively meets customer requirements. Having extensive experience in the sector in which we are located allows us to independently manage the entire process, from design to turnkey.
Our team of professionals carefully examines the following details during design:
- Selection of the appropriate irrigation method
- Study of water source and characteristics of irrigation wate
- Clarification of soil properties
- Conducting topographic analysis
- Analysis of climatic conditions
- Determining the suitability of plant species for the area
- Development of a project in accordance with the financial capabilities of the client
Drip Irrigation
Drip irrigation is one of the most effective methods for growing plants. Instead of irrigating the entire soil, it delivers water and nutrients directly to the plant’s root zone at the right time and as much as the plant needs. Each plant receives what it needs to grow optimally under equal conditions. Thus, in addition to saving water, fertilizer and energy, it provides high productivity.
Advantages of Drip Irrigation Systems:
- With drip irrigation, the water and water-soluble nutrients needed for plant growth are given to the root zone of the plant in a controlled manner at any time and in any quantity.
- Irrigation water is given at short intervals and each time in small amounts.
- Irrigation begins before the soil loses moisture.
- The plant is given enough water to meet its daily or daily needs.
- Due to the lack of moisture in the soil or excessive moisture, the cultivated plant does not experience tension, in other words, water shortages.
- Efficient and cost-effective use of water is ensured.
- More land is irrigated more efficiently with less water.
- Soil salinization is prevented.
- Weeds are less because the rows are not irrigated.
- In areas with high groundwater, irrigation is carried out without raising the groundwater level.
- Irrigation can be carried out on sloping soils without causing erosion.
- It is very easy to install, assemble and store.
- Field operations and harvesting can be done during or immediately after irrigation.
- Saves pesticides, fertilizers and labor.
- Provides increase in productivity and quality of agricultural products.
Sprinkler Irrigation
Rainfall is actually a rain-like irrigation method. The water is pumped through a system of pipes and then dispersed into the air. The spraying system is considered more effective in irrigating a number of plants.
Advantages of Irrigation Systems:
- As there is no water loss in the system, maximum water is used even in places where irrigation water is low (3.5 lt / sec).
- Irrigation can be carried out in inclined areas (corrugated) without causing erosion.
- As water is delivered to the soil as fine particles as in the rain, it provides a 20-50% increase in yield and quality compared to other irrigation methods.
- Eliminates the inability of the plant to rise above the soil due to the creamy coating of the soil during seed germination.
- It is the most ideal irrigation system in shallow areas.
- Especially in the vicinity of the sea, salt particles, dust and pests released to plants by wind-blown salt water can be washed away by rain.
- Spray irrigation is the most suitable method of irrigation in areas with high groundwater (drainage) problems, as it is possible to provide controlled water.
- Since there is no need for field ditches, the sown area is increasing and agricultural work is carried out easily.
- Dissolved fertilizers can be applied to plants with irrigation water without the need for physical labor.
- Vegetables, citrus fruits, grapes and other orchards can be protected from frost and heat.
Automatic Irrigation
In a rapidly globalizing world, the demand for automatic irrigation systems is growing day by day. One of the biggest advantages of these perfect systems is the reduced workforce. The automation of the process allows the irrigation system to work without labor.
There is no need for additional control by the worker, as the water in the irrigated units is constantly monitored continuously during the irrigation process. Therefore, even if you are far from the field, you will get high quality irrigation with the advantage of an improved system.
With automatic irrigation, water wastage is prevented and costs are significantly reduced. Because the most modern equipment and software is used to automate the irrigation system, your plants get the amount of water they need when they need it. This ensures that plants and grasses stay green longer.
Pivot Systems
Pivot irrigation is called water wheel and circular irrigation. It is an irrigation method in which the machinery rotates around a loop and the crops are watered with sprinklers. Center pivot irrigation can significantly increase productivity as it delivers water evenly. This is more effective in areas with uneven terrain or varying soil conditions.
But what are the advantages of a central irrigation system?
Among irrigation methods, center pivot irrigation systems have several advantages from an environmental point of view. For example, automated operation and low labor costs, the possibility of shallow application depths, good uniformity in water application, easier application of agrochemicals and reliability. Center loops are irrigated in a circular fashion around a central pivot point.
Pivots have the ability to apply water, fertilizer, chemicals and herbicides. This versatility can increase the efficiency of irrigation practices by using one machine to perform several functions. When well maintained and managed, center pivot irrigation systems have a long history of excellent performance and reliability. Although it is usually intended for a service period of 15 years, they have used more than this service period.
